Policies

 Service Day & Time 

Our crews work Monday through Friday. They are in certain areas on each day of the week, so a specific mow day will be assigned to you. Our crews follow the same route every week so that you can expect them on your assigned day. If your yard is not mowed by 5 PM, please be aware that our crews will work until sun down if needed. If there is a delay and you are not completed on your scheduled mowing day, you will be completed the following morning. 


Skipping Request

If you would like to skip services any given week, the office must be notified by 3 pm the day before your scheduled mowing. (i.e. If your mowing day is Wednesday, you must let us know by 3 pm on Tuesday).  If we receive a skipping request after hours or over the weekend, we will try our best to communicate this with the crew; however, we may not be able to guarantee you can be skipped.


One Time Cuts and On Demand Mowing 

We offer both one-time cuts and on-demand mowing services. To qualify for our standard on-demand pricing, we require a minimum of three mowings scheduled on a weekly or biweekly basis after Memorial Day.  This allows us to maintain a consistent, healthy lawn appearance. 

If you’re looking for occasional service, we’re happy to provide one-time cuts at our one-time service rate.


Yearly Renewal

 Mowing services do not automatically renew. You must notify us at the beginning of each year to secure your spot, unless you’ve already requested renewal at your final cut of the previous season. 


Rain Delays 

 Wet conditions may affect our schedule at any time. If it rains during the week, crews may need to suspend or cancel service for that day, which can delay the entire schedule. Once delayed, we will resume where we left off on the next dry day. Please note that multiple consecutive rain days may result in your mowing being skipped. We will provide scheduling updates and delay notifications when necessary. 


Holidays

We are closed for all major government Holidays. If this falls on a Monday-Friday, our schedule will be adjusted and your schedule may be affected that week. We do send scheduling delays and updates when warranted.


Items In The Lawn

 We kindly ask that you remove toys, lawn chairs, and any other items from your lawn prior to our crew’s arrival. This helps prevent any damage during service, as Marty Mows is not responsible for items left in the yard. 


Gates & Pets

 Our crews are very careful to close gates, but we do not guarantee that a pet will not escape from the yard; therefore, by accepting our service, you agree to this provision. To help avoid this, please make sure your pets are indoors on your scheduled service day. If your pet is outside, we will not enter that area to mow. If your gate is locked and we are unable to access it, we will not be able to service that portion of your property. 


Bi-Weekly Schedule (every 2 weeks)

Bi-weekly mowing services are only available after Memorial Day. Weekly mowing is required until then.

Liability

Marty Mows shall not be liable for damages by reason of any delay in commencement or completion of work due to causes beyond its control and without its fault or negligence including, but not limited to, acts of God or of the public enemy, acts of the government, fires, floods, epidemics, quarantine restrictions, strikes, freight embargoes, unusually severe weather or delays of a subcontractor due to such causes. In addition, customer shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless Marty Mows and any of its employees, agents and subcontractors from any and all claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including but not limited to attorney’s fees arising from any damage, loss, or injuries caused directly or indirectly to any and all property, persons or entities.
